I marvel at God's creation, the wonder of the night sky with the leading of humble shepherds and royal Magi to the Savior. Wanting to create a Christmas image that wasn't primarily red and green, I painted a gradient wash that began with royal purple to represent God above, fading to green that represents us on earth, then sprinkled it with salt to lift color and indicate stars.
The 8x10 image comes ready to frame.
