A watercolor of a teacup wrapped in a handmade quilt in fabric from the 1960s* and an embroidery hoop with the sentiment "For You" surrounded by flowers and a little bird. The "For You" theme comes from every quilter I know who is always gifting a quilt for someone they love. Now there's a card for them or anyone who needs a bit of warmth.
A little poem inside reads, "Quilt and tea, A cozy pair, To keep you warm, With loving care."
It comes with a mellow Orange Pekoe tea, a black tea blend of Assam & Ceylon by Harney and Sons that's delicious with milk and honey, hot or iced.

*The fabrics on this quilt are of remnants from clothes my mom sewed for me in the 1960s. She gifted me this quilt when I turned 40. My daughter's comment when she saw it, "Wow mom, you wore wild clothes." Yes, they were groovy, for sure. Painting this card brought up a flood of memories. I hope it sparks a few for you as well.
