USPS Postal Changes

• USPS merged First Class Package and Parcel Select Ground into the one new name: Ground Advantage. This 2-5 day ground delivery speed stays the same, just the name and rates changed.

• USPS lowered Priority Mail rates and increased the rates for Media Mail and Signature Confirmation. 

Here's a few personal mailing tips: 

I Learned from a postal worker how to get your mail thru the USPS shipping process quicker: USE ALL CAPS on your envelopes and packages. In doing so, a package I sent on Friday from Oregon arrived in Michigan on Monday. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's wonderful when it does. 

Also, when submitting a mailing address with an online store, USE ALL CAPS. Many businesses copy and paste your address onto lables to ensure it's correct. If the address they past is ALL CAPS, you may get your package sooner.
